This is our camping spot in the Chugach National Forest Campground near Portage Lake. There are three Glacier coming down the mountain. We camp in front of the Middle Glacier. We didn't do the walk, maybe a two miles up to the glacier.
This gives a little better shot of Middle Glacier coming down the mountain. Weather was cloudy and some rain. Same day I took this shot, a stupid Texan got lost hiking in the forest in shorts and a t-shirt by him self. Last I heard they haven't found him.
Just a short walk from camp site and your in a rainforest.
